1. General rules
All tenants and guests must follow the relevant rules for driving and parking at housing association property. A parking ticket will be issued by Aimo Park if the rules are broken, and in severe cases the vehicle will be towed away.
The parking area is only intended for cars with a total weight of up to 3500 kg.
2. Aimo Park – parking company
Tenants who use parking inside or outside on housing association property (max. 2 cars per family) MUST register their car/cars in the app «AimoParkNorway». The cars of visiting guest must also be registered in the app. The cars(s) reg. number must be registered in the app so the that the parking company can control that the vehicle is permitted to park on the property of Emma Hjorth Boligselskap. This also apply to guests. Guests can park outside on assigned parking spaces.
If the car is not registered in the app (according to the above description), a parking ticket will be issued. This goes for both indoor and outdoor parking. Tenants who have indoor parking MUST use assigned space. Only cars that are registered can be parked on the housing association property. Tenants must ensure that garagedoors/gates are shut/loocked when leaving the garage facility with or without the car.
NOTE: the entire area of the housing association is signposted by Aimo Park. Aimo Park is executive control body for the at any time applicable driving and parking regulations.
3. Unregistered vehicles
Unregistered vehicles, transport/camping/boat trailers, campervans etc. are not permitted on the housing association area, neither outside nor inside in the garages, and will be towed at the owner’s expense and liability.
All parked vehicles that have been vacated, transport/camping or boat trailers etc, that prevent driving and regular movement at the residence in question, lawn areas and outside side roads will immediately be given a parking ticket.
Reparing cars within the parking garage or other outside areas belonging to the housing association is forbidden. Changing of tires is accepted.
4. Guest parking
Guests can park at the ouside parking spaces. The tenant is responsible to register the car number(s) of their guest(s) (see point 2). A parking ticket will be issued with lack of registration.
5. Driving behaviour
Completely necessary driving/parking at the residence for off- and onloading is permitted for up to 15 minutes. Driving or parking on grass yards, playgrounds, park areas and similar locations is not permitted. The highest speed permitted in the housing area is 10 km/h. The housing office must be contacted for special parking needs.
6. Moving in and out of housing
When moving in or out of housing a temporary parking permit must be collected from the housing office to be able to offload/onload furniture etc. Time period is within 0900-21.00 hours. When off- and onloading is finished the vehicle must be parked on outside parking or inside in the garage. In case of lacking parking permission, a parking ticket will be issued.
7. Charging stations for electric cars
Tenants who require a space for charging their electric/hybrid car must apply to the housing office. See separate rules. Use of block heater outlets or extension cable to charge this type of vehicle is strictly forbidden.
8. Fire safety
«Guidelines for shared garage facilities» is from Asker and Bærum Fire Department, and it is vital that these guidelines are complied with.
Guidelines for shared garage facilities
Fire in a garage facility, especially under ground, can be a major challenge for the Fire Department. It is therefore important that a minimum of things are stored in the garage to minimize the risk of a fire.
Reguirements and guidelines for shared garage facilities:
- In shared garage facilities only cars and car accessories can be stored. By car accessories is meant roof rack/ski box and one set of tires (4 tires).
- Car repairs or flammable works of any kind is forbidden.
Storage of flammable gases in underground garage facilities/basements is forbidden.
- Storage of flammable fluids in the garage facility is forbidden.
- The garage facility must have appropriate fire hose/fire extinguisher wich reaches every room. The fire extinguisher must have efficiency class 21A. Extinguishing equipment must be clearly marked.
- Escape route must be clearly marked.
- Technical installations as extinguising equipment, fire classified doors, fire gates, sprinklers, alarm, smoke ventilation etc. must work as intended and controlled regularly.
- Charging of electric cars must only be done in spescially installed charging stations.
